About ten years ago the name Jack Russell Terrier included all the terriers of this breed, no matter if they where over or under 12 inches.

But time changes and the FCI decided to make a difference between the two types of Jack Russell Terriers. Those who are short-legged are called Jack Russell Terriers (under 12 inches), while the long-legged ones (12 to 14 inches) are called Parson Russell Terriers.

By pressing the following buttons above you can inform yourself about the standard of the Jack Russell Terrier, moreover we will introduce our four Jack Russells with some photos.
